HATHA YOGA

A more traditional approach.  Literally meaning sun and moon (Ha Ta) Hatha represents the merging of opposites.  Postures are sustained for 15 seconds to 1 minute.  Using allignement cues, the focus is on finding the oppositional nature of each pose.

POWER YOGA

A vigorous and invigorating workout.  Power yoga is a total body challenge.  This type of practice is great for building strength, muscle tone, stamina and flexibility.

VINYASA FLOW

As the name suggests, this practice is more fluid and dynamic.  Dance from one posture to another moving with the rhythm of the breath.

HOT YOGA

Get your sweat on! Explore the ease with which the body can stretch in a hot room, releasing toxins as you perspire.  Drink loads of water!  

YOGALATES

A yoga and Pilates fusion.  This fun workout combines a yoga standing series with Pilates style floor work.

PRENATAL YOGA

Prenatal yoga sequences are designed to help relieve aches and pains that result from pregnancy, as well as reduce anxiety associated with delivery.  Prenatal yoga is suitable for all levels and trimesters and is a great way to help mom and baby bond.

YOGA FOR HOCKEY PLAYERS

This specialized sequence is designed specifically to address issues men face when playing hockey. Specific attention is given toward improving range of movement in hips, groins and hip flexors. Twists and lateral stretches aid with slap-shots. Neck stretches and strengthening exercises reduce the risk of concussion. Balances, squats and lunges help with skating, stamina and shooting.
